About a month ago I had a baby savannah monitor make a jailbreak on me.  We tore the house apart (including the furnace) but he was nowhere to be found.  Today, my dog started barking at something in the livingroom and lo and behold, there was my lizard.  He’s grown about 2 inches and he is fat and fiesty and super healthy.  He must have been eating bugs or dog food or something because he looks awesome.  He pissed & shit all over me too so that means he was able to get water somewhere.

This guy is nowhere near as friendly as Tripod but he is still young and being somewhat vicious is normal for an animal that thinks the entire world wants to eat him.  He is hard to pick up but he settles down once you have him so I think he’ll be okay someday

Here is a video of my 3 legged savannah monitor, Tripod. He’s about 3 feet long and he’s very, very tame. He lost his leg in a battle with another monitor before I got him. He gets around okay but it is kind of sad to see him dragging himself around.

If I was going to stalk someone, it would be Jennifer Aniston.  I’m totally in love with her but my wife will not go for the polygamy thing.
